Zoey Nelson, M.A., LPC
Hello! I know it takes a lot of courage to make the choice to seek help. You have accomplished the first and most important step of starting your journey to improve your overall well-being. My desire is to gently assist you in achieving your unique goals through a supportive process moving at a pace comfortable for you. While doing so, I commit to providing a compassionate, private, and collaborative environment so you feel safe and secure while we work together.
I am a licensed professional counselor experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults. I take an eclectic approach by using mindfulness, emotional regulation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and client-centered and solution-focused modalities.
When I am not working, I enjoy expressing myself creatively by knitting, painting, cross-stitching, and photography. And when there is not a paintbrush or ball of yarn in my hand, I am spending all my time with my husband, niece, and nephew.
I meet clients virtually and in person at our Highland Park office. I look forward to meeting you!
